In 1988, Tom and Ginger Penaluna discovered Whitefish Moutain Resort, Montana,
on a family ski trip. They made their first property investment
there that week, then went back to Cedar Falls, Iowa to tell their
close friends and neighbors, Ken and Amy Lockard, how beautiful
and unspoiled the area was.
Over the years, the Penalunas and their four daughters returned
often to enjoy the fabulous skiing and hiking, breath-taking vistas,
and the natural, friendly atmosphere Montana is famous for. Tom
decided to expand his holdings on the Mountain, and, after convincing
the Lockards this magnificent part of the world was where they should
all be, Ken made his first trip to Whitefish Moutain Resort in early 2003. Finding
the property to be every bit as spectacular as Tom had described
it, the Lockards joined the Penalunas in purchasing 220 beautiful,
forested acres on the sunny south slope of the mountain. The Iowa
neighbors christened the property Elk Highlands, and then they celebrated...they
would be neighbors in Montana, too!
Tom, Ginger, Ken, Amy, and their children invite you to come and
see for yourself why Elk Highlands is exactly what you've been longing
for. |
